You can have as much or as little involvement in the Co-op as you'd like as the Moringa Grower.
If you only want to grow Moringa and do not want to participate in the harvesting and processing, that is okay. You'll be eligible to earn $10/kg for every dried Moringa leaf harvested from your property.
If you do not have land and want to be a Certified Moringa Grower you can harvest Moringa trees from other Moringa Grower Locations and drop the Moringa Material off at a MGC Certified Processing Facility. Once the leaves are dried and weighed, you'll earn $10/kg for the dried leaf provided.
If you'd like to become a Certified MGC Processing Facility, drying and processing Moringa material, then packaging the Moringa Material into vacuum sealed bags for shipping and sending the package directly to the buyer, you'll receive $10/kg for that process. Shipping costs are covered by the Co-op.
If you do all three steps: Grow, Harvest, Process
(See diagram in Photos)
If you Grow, Harvest, then Process (dry & ship), you'll earn the full $30/kg of dried leaf you provide to the co-op to sell.
As the Certified Moringa Grower, you do not need to provide all of your Moringa Material to the Co-op. If your Moringa Trees produce 20kg/year and you consume 10kg yourself, it's okay to only supply the Co-op with the remainder of Moringa Material that you have or want to sell through The Co-op.
